SW-Fotografie eingeschossen.

Torsten Haberland
Photography

"With my works I invite you to look into my feelings and feelings."

Torsten Haberland has, over the course of time, become a project-related, conceptually working photographer through his intensive immersion in a wide variety of photographic and processing techniques.
In his works there are rarely no erotic elements, points of view and angles. Combined with a tendency towards morbidity, his works draw the viewer into a gloomy world of the sensually captious urges of man.
He takes the viewer into his very personal moments, situations and moods. Playfully dealing with forms, structures and conventions, he creates sensual and symbolic scenes.
Based on a consciously created basic idea, each shooting creates the space for a unique dynamic. In the further development process, the artist communicates with the viewer in an authentic and emotional way via image editing.

"I like the moment, the situation and the very own dynamic that can emerge from the situation. Not arbitrarily reproducible.
If a more or less strong alienation is added to the shot, the artificiality is created that contains the real."
